My son and I have been driving for 5 years now. We have been going to the Fontana yard most of our 34 hour resets. The people are very nice here and the place is very clean and secure. Me being a female I feel safe to get out of my truck anytime of the day or night. The security guards are helpful and very polite. They make you feel comfortable about staying there. I love the atmosphere here, and the view is great also. I recommend as a female staying here. Oh oh the showers here are amazing and the hole place is very clean. The hole staff here are amazing. They have a kitchen in the lounge and tables to where you can visit with others as you cook. It’s spacious to where you’re not on top of each other or feel like you’re in a cave.

This is actually my favorite USX terminal. Its a safe haven in LA. I've parked here at 2AM on a weekend and still found a spot. Dont know where I would have parked otherwise. I called ahead once to see if there was room, and was told there will always be space for our drivers one way or another. You are required to unhook from your trailer, which other people seem to really dislike. I think it works great though, makes it so much easier to back in than other terminals. I wish they all had that requirement. The showers are usually clean, and there are plenty of dumpsters for garbage. As of 7/24 all 3 washers and dryers are fully functional. The security staff are always very friendly.

Nicer inside the drivers lounge than you'd think when first pulling in. While in a dumpy part of town and the grounds are nothing to look at, the lounge is recently remodeled w 3 nice shower/ private baths and a separate men's/ women's bathroom w 3 or 4 toilets stalls and several urinals. Did I mention free laundry? The kitchen/ lounge area is pretty nice, but lacks the water filtration system that some other USX terminals have and since I don't feel comfortable drinking tap water, I got kind of thirsty here. The entire lounge seems to be cleaned regularly and most everything inside including the couches were in like new condition Parking is limited, you WILL have to GIVE UP your trailer upon entry 😥

Great facility for truckers, clean showers and laundry is free. Security is really strict about parking here. I do not like gravel lots either, they really make my truck messy. Almost zero parking here especially since we cannot stay connected to our trailers. They're bobtails everywhere along the fences it's overwhelming if you ask me trying to find a place to park.
