I randomly came here because I left all my contact lenses at home like 300 miles away. I told them my situation that I just needed a weeks worth of lenses. I showed them my prescription (I am super blind). The lady there was super nice and gave me trials of what they had for no fee. This place is a well oiled machine. As I was waiting, all the customers were getting great service. I would recommend this place to anyone who can’t see. Don’t go to the place near Fitness 19 and Baskin Robbin’s in Campbell. They’re meanies

All old records were thrown out without notification. Family Eyecare had my full 35+ year medical history (physical folder). The new Total Vision only had my last two visits (digital record). The explanation I got from the staff was bizarre. “By California law we are only required to keep your medical records for 3 years!” - The staff member kept repeating this statement over and over again. - California minimum is 7 years and 10 years is recommended. Not 3 years. “You should have been notified about the records” - No email. No letter. No phone call. No digitization option. I wasn’t given the chance to retrieve the folder. “This doctor isn’t even here anymore and we had like 15 doctors go through here” - What does that have to do with my medical record? Did the doctor(s) take my folder?? “Only patient receipts were transferred over” - ??? No wonder my insurance dropped this place. Avoid at all cost.

I never received my contact lenses! I was calling their office repeatedly for a number of weeks until I gave up. Dr. Viano was knowledgeable and she prescribed me some contacts that was supposed to be a 6 month supply. I would advise you to go somewhere else because their follow-through in delivering what they say is pretty bad.

My wife and daughter both use Family Eye Care Center as their optometrist. Dr Chang and Dr Yu are excellent, as are all of the employees! We have had excellent care and service on every visit. Everything about this place is fantastic. I highly recommend them.

There has been a decline in service since Total Vision took over ownership/management. The level of service from the Doctors is still top notch but the rest is questionable. At my appointment 5 weeks ago I ordered and paid for contact lenses. I was told they would come to their office and I would get a call in 1 to 2 weeks. It has been 5 weeks and not a word. Called, got hung up on after being on hold for 15 minutes. I called back and was told they would call me and I did not need to call back. I was also told and they had a lot of return calls to make. 2 hours later (now they are closed) and no call back. No idea if lenses have even been ordered. So if you go here either plan on ordering lenses elsewhere or order when you still have a 3 month supply. Now with the lack of response there is a concern that lenses are not ordered and if they do not get ordered soon this years insurance allotment may not be used and next years would. Leaving patients to foot entire bill themselves next year for lenses. This is not an acceptable level of service. Time to go back to getting prescription from Doctor and ordering lenses elsewhere. Update: Reduced stars, it has been two weeks since I first reviewed. The saga continues. Finally at end of week one I was told my lenses had shipped and would arrive in the next two days. When I received the text saying they had arrived I went to pick them up to find out that 1 of 5 boxes had arrived and the other 4 were ordered incorrectly (wrong prescription). I was the one to figure that out when they told me what power they were. I just received text that my other lenses have arrived what are the odds they are the correct ones.
