Mike and his moving crew were great! From the moment they arrived to the time they dropped off our household goods, they made sure to protect our floors, walls, furniture, habdrails,packed and labeled the boxes! That was a small but big thing for us. Our previous moving crew didn't label our boxes, so this was a nice touch! When dropping off our household goods, it was nice to see Mike and another familiar face. This helped in having a couple of items put to the side for my daughter to pick up, they knew wgat I was looking for since they had packed it.

Overall this was a smooth move. Price was higher than I expected, 6.4k for a 4klbs household goods move ~590 miles. Walkboard was able to take care of my needs within acceptable means. Meaning, the exact dates I wanted, pack out on a Tues and deliver on Fri giving me a full day to clean and travel, were unavailable even though we were booking 4 weeks in advance. That carrier backed out of the move and a second carrier was needed, which eliminated my at home time for post packing clean up of my Apt. Packed on Wed and delivered on Fri which only left Thursday to make the trip from SC to FL and clean. Their communication on move updates and my questions where good, within a day at most. Again, overall it was a smooth process, Make A Move, the actual company that moved me, gets 5 Plus Stars, my team was awesome and packed everything with care and I had no damage on the other end!

If you want a more affordable moving company and have loads of extra time during your move, don't care about customer service, don't care where your belongings are the entire time, and don't care about the environment, this is the moving company for you. When I called customer service to inquire about my movers as they had still not shown up after the window they were supposed to arrive, I was told, and I quote "they're probably late because some customer lied about how much stuff they had to move. Customers lie all of the time, I'm sure it's some customers' fault. And I will tell my manager I said that if you complain." Any inquiry I had with my coordinator I was basically told "there's nothing we can do about it" or my questions/requests were ignored. When I finally received my belongings, it was an incredibly poor packing job, with an extremely unnecessary amount of packing paper wrapping items that absolutely did not need to be wrapped up, while delicate items were thrown in haphazardly. I did receive my belongings, but again, unless you really don't care much and are strictly going for the lower bidder I do not recommend this company.

Horrible company! Unbelievable that they have the nerve to charge an extreme amount of money and be this terrible. I wish I had shipped with POD if they were going to be this terrible. My things arrived damaged, EVERYTHING WAS OPENED, and I’m not sure if things are missing. I wish I could give 0 stars. Save your money and use another service!
