I worked for Warren on 2 different occasions in the short haul division. Orientation goes on for 3 days. Nearly 4 but they try and get you outta there on day 4. They put you in a hotel and get you lunch. The hotel stay is extremely meager, so check everything lol. The food is from the same place daily with no real options but that along with that hotel is the only free stuff you’ll get so enjoy it while it last. Alright so my truck was a 2018 Volvo with 12 months on the lease with a balloon payment under 30k. This was in 21’ before the price of things went beyond affordable. Not a bad deal I thought. Dispatched by Austin, who is no longer with the company and Aaron who was never available unless Austin was on break. My dealings with Aaron were minimal in the beginning. My beginning was pretty rocky. I kept busy but the money wasn’t what I thought it should be based on doing 7 to 8 loads sometimes in a week. Well I figured out the freight I was getting was pretty cheap. So I had to learn what loads paid well and which ones didn’t. What areas to avoid and what areas were best. Two things happened that helped me. I financed my truck out of the lease in 6 months to give myself more flexibility in case I didn’t want to be apart of Warren anymore. The second thing was, I started going home every day instead of staying out every night. The craziest part about going home daily is, I actually started making way more money too. I went from $1700-$2200wk to $2800-$3k wk or more at times. This was more like the money I thought I should be making. That lasted a good while. Now at this point Austin is moving on and Aaron is by himself. Dealing with Aaron was a solid experience. He knew what I wanted to do and always had something for me. I even worked on Saturdays to maximize my net pay. Fast forward into 22’ at some point Aaron gets a new dispatch partner, Naomi. This I swear is when everything begin going to hell. I can honestly say I hated working with this woman. Like the sound of her voice annoyed me to my core. She fast talks you off the phone and seems to forget that you actually pay Warren to be there so you don’t need anything extra just for her to do her best. The biggest problem I had is relying on someone like her who isn’t successful at what she does to help make me successful. I did my part and showed up daily and toward the end I was making no money at all. I mean I was going home with zero dollars after going to work everyday. I was basically volunteering at that point. That happened for 6 months. While a rep from them may try and defend their company from what I’m saying I’d challenge them to show the proof. People lie all the time and this place is no different. Their rates and banked on contract freight is not sustainable for the amount of drivers they have in short haul. Aaron went back to his old ways and made himself invisible when this lady came into the equation. If you leave them and you don’t own your equipment and you terminate that lease whatever money you have in the maintenance fund along with money you’ve worked for will take 45 days before they give you a final settlement. You can bet whatever you had will likely get taken because they legally take from you using a malicious tactics in the contract verbiage. If you’re going to lease, then have a plan. Save your money, fix your credit, buy your own equipment. If you finish your lease good job but just know that Warren along with most other lease companies make money by assuming zero cost to them with 100% cost to you while telling you that you’re in control. One more thing Warren does that is extremely questionable is they don’t provide you with original rate cons. They give you their edited copy with the Warren watermark on it. You never know the true amount of money in the 65/35 spilt of a deal you have with them. There’s much more but I’ll end it there. Thanks for reading! Be cautious, be careful!

OMG my Fiancé worked for them over 5 yrs till he realized it’s nothing about their drivers it’s all about them getting their money! Several 0 deposits we almost went in to foreclose with our new home less then 2 yrs, almost lost everything, we did loose anlot !! and still trying to catch up! Truth! When he said he was done they called and said “ sorry you got a bump in the road things are slow this happens things will get better” it’s been a year! When…. after I loose everything I own? He says” I was available 28 days straight out on the road” For 5 yrs! 2/4 days home a month. I made u your money right? You got ur check right? I got nothing 0 deposit for 2weeks! 3 week was just enough to cover his bank over draws for his insurance and in the road cost of food! He left them now we’re starting to do better. He should have left long ago! He asked me to not say anything but this was my choice bc I watched him suffer with Warren! Sitting for days! No pay! Dead heading for over 500 miles!!! bc they will not deal with broker loads to help their drivers! Warren can sue me for this but I can prove 100% true as I saved every single settlement! After leaving he had over 10k in his maintenance account they took every single dollar! I have the letter to prove it! He was leasing a new truck from them he was with them 5 yrs. After 5 years could not get the balloon payment for only around 35k… signed for ext. but now after making payment for another 18 months the balloon payment has more then doubled!!! How does this make sense? As he’s making less then enough to pay his own bills! Work for Warren if u will but after awhile u will find out!!!! They pay what 68%? He found a job making 80% now. With their own garage to help him. They also give him a rental at no charge! Warren does not do this! They just don’t care about their drivers only their money!!!!

I did a load from Aroura IL to Ohio on 7/30 which was a load and go straight thru and ended with a 4 hr hold up at receiving end. Broker only aproved 1/2hr detention. I've been calling for a updated rate sheet and was never sent one. Was told it takes 30 days to process just the detention request. Today 8/7. I was told the broker never submitted for it. I do not recommend being a carrier for this company.

I started at Warren Transport in Oct. Warren as a company was great and treated me well. Their leasing company is another story. The truck I leased was not in the greatest condition mechanically and was in and out of the shop several times. I couldn't get myself out of the hole that truck put me in and the leasing company wouldn't budge nor get me a different truck. I came back to Warren in Feb. 2023. And I have to say this. Has it been wine and roses everyday. No, it hasn't. But this time it has been more enjoyable and I'm making money. The truck I got this time was in better shape and I've had less breakdowns. I don't see myself leaving Warren any time soon.
