Western Van and Storage handled the delivery for North American for a cross-country move. My delivery experience with them was abysmal. If I could give zero stars and still write a review, I would. They communicated poorly, were late, destroyed several items, ignored instructions regarding not taking apart a high-value item, and exhibited a blatant disregard for the premises into which I moved, damaging the property. The “helpers” who did the physical labor clearly had no experience. They pulled heavy furniture on top my bed that was already at the residence, brand new and made up. They placed my couch standing straight up such that it touched the ceiling. I had to request that they remediate these things. They crushed boxes and left them sporadically stacked, extra large boxes on top of very small boxes. They also lost parts to a dining set I did not approve them taking apart. They left it partially assembled when they left, not telling me. This resulted in it breaking irreparably. The “helpers” were also extremely intrusive and unprofessional, prioritizing charging their phones and checking them regularly. They hung out in my living room and delayed unloading. The driver, despite my instructions not to open the door to the room where my cats were locked up, opened that door without asking in order to use the restroom. He didn’t give me the opportunity to place my cats elsewhere and risked letting them out. I would never use this company again and would not recommend them.

Don't use this company. Leg of antique tack chair broken off. Cigar Store stature scratched and dented. Finish on antique dining table ruined. Dents in antique dining chair. Dent in top of book shelf. Kandinsky print ruined. Motor oil stains on two mattresses (means they leaned the mattresses on either side of a lawn mower). Refuses to offer any compensation other then $0.60/ lbs of item. This wont pay for repairs. In addition... loading crew became angry with me. Unloading crew blamed me for the damage. Move coordinator did not acknowledge any responsibility, extend any sympathy for damages and was tardy in responding to me.

I have used Allied for two big moves over the last five years. One international, and one cross-country and I have nothing but good things to say about both experiences. My most recent cross-country with Western (via Allied) went seamlessly and the experience alleviated much of the stress that can come with such a significant change. They stayed true to the estimated quote, were incredibly punctual and arrived early and right in time, handled my items with great care and wrapped all of my more fragile items and furniture so well. They arrived at my destination at the early days of the time window provided and again, right on time and early morning. Michelle was very personable and paid great attention to detail. Still stunned at how quickly she can put furniture together without instructions! All of my items on the inventory list were accounted for and NOT ONE THING was damaged or broken even knowing my goods were transferred from small trucks to big trucks along the way. I felt like the whole crew really cared for and has a respect my stuff and my home. Would use Western and Allied again without a worry!

DO NOT USE THIS DELIVERY SERVICE!! After 3 delivery dates and very short cancelation notice we are still unable to get our merchandise delivered. Customer service does not answer the phone or return email and text requests. I have received emails that claim of phone calls but have had no calls or contact outside of random emails that are not true. This is definitely the most undesirable company I have ever encountered.

The owner George was very professional and cared about responding to his clients. He took time to explain the details and contract of the move. There was nothing hidden in terms of what was agreed on. His staff such as the move liaison Alondra and Talia at the front office were just as professional and friendly. The drivers/movers were also on time and professional. I would definitely recommend this company that is associated with this Allied moving company. We moved our son’s belongings after he graduated from Seattle to Southern California and it was successfully done!
