Absolutely terrible place to work.. like many have said there is a bogus contract if you leave before your year they will try and charge for the training orientation and truck maintenance.. they do not care about there drivers the trucks are absolutely disgusting specifically the freightliners.. please listen to all the negative reviews this place is filled with scum.. trucks will never get repaired from the issues you get them with.. below are some photos of the trash they expected me to live in for a month at a time… again listen to all warnings and negative reviews go elsewhere you will be much happier.

WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR. IF YOU ARE A NEW DRIVER DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!!! They train their drivers poorly, don’t inform them on anything they need to know, then will use It against them. Even dispatchers question their training because they were not taught simple day to day expectations and duties. They will try to over work you in training for free/cheap labor. after training, Whatever pay you think you’ll receive is a lie. Your truck will break down so much you can kiss those miles goodbye. The absolute worst experience especially if you are new to trucking, It will leave you contemplating everything. If you’re young or old, or just trying to make a good living, trucking is the way to go but this company is not! They don’t care about anyone but themselves, not their employees, just their pockets.

Hey my name is Freddy and I needed to come on here, so I can set somethings straight, about Windy Hill Foliage Inc. I just received my CDL license this year 06-11-2024 and I only had 800 OTR miles. On top of that I was released from prison the year prior, so I applied every where an when I would go to the interview and get a drug test ill pass, but my application gets in front of H.R. an they would deny me the job, because of my background, so I had 3 strikes against me things were looking slim to none and I was on the verge of being homeless. I was going to throw in the towel until Windy Hill Foliage Inc... When all the other companies deny me or gave me excuses Windy Hill Foliage welcome me with open arms. The day I left the hotel to come to Windy Hill I started to read the reviews and I almost didn't come of all the negative stuff but some times you need to see it and experience it for your self. I'm so happy I came the people here are nice they respect and I came here for 2 weeks of training and the trainer and the recruiter are the best they even let me stay until I found a trainer to start working with. The #1 year contract is for everyone that wants to work for Windy Hill and they tell you up front. The pay is fair but for starters so the more miles you drive the more you make. Trucks are given to you depending on what they have available and after you complete the 2 to 4 weeks out an about with your trainer. I would highly recommend Windy Hill Foliage Inc to anyone driver. People will always post negative reviews when things don't work out for them and they quit cus they can't humble them selves or be patient the truth is only half spoken about and most of the time is fabricated too

PLEASE BEWARE: I really don’t have anything positive to say about this company. Based on my experience, there is a very poor level of communication on all levels. My trainer was very antisocial. In the 10 days I lasted in his home/truck, we spoke less than a handful of times. Imagine your first experience of being on a truck with someone where they don’t take at least a minute to explain; what is going on, where you’re going, what is going on when they’re making a quick stop somewhere, how to even use basic systems, or even how to get a shower. Then throw in the fact that this supposed “trainer” is a chain smoker. All that was tolerated until he felt comfortable enough to blatantly disrespect me as if it was some type of hazing. I understand trucking may not be for everyone but you cannot determine that for someone. It is in their contract that you work with them for a year otherwise you will have to pay back your training pay. Fortunately for me i did not get out of training with them. I can go on and on about them as a whole with receipts to back it up but after sending me a flight back home I never heard from them again thankfully. Please take heed to the negative reviews on this company. It’s been about 8 months since i returned home and it nearly crushed my aspirations of starting my CDL career but I experience a completely different experience elsewhere with another company. This place will never get a recommendation from me. If anything I would advise you to beware.
