An exceptional delivery experience with the Yellow Eagle team. We relocated using International Van Lines from Florida to California. While the IVL team was rather lacking on the customer service side, the Yellow Eagle kept us updated on their travels, arrival time, and the 2-man team was friendly, professional, and did a fantastic job getting everything unloaded and reassembling the larger pieces. Could not be happier with the experience. Our thanks for making the final portion of our relocation a good one!

UPDATED - 11/9/21 after delivery I would not recommend yellow eagle transportation for anyone looking for an stress-free move. I would give them zero stars if I could. They lost about 20% of my stuff and looks like our sound bar was stolen from the box. We used Yellow Eagle for moving from California to Austin. There is absolutely zero communication after the pick-up. We could not reach our moving coordinator on the phone and there’s no tracking or delivery dates. We just got vague delivery estimates on email. 1) The pickup was postponed by 2 days as they didn’t have an adequate truck the first time. We were flexible with this. Overall pickup was smooth and the crew were good. 2) Our final estimate was ~$1800 higher than the initial quote. I knew a lot of moving companies employed bait-and-switch tactics like this but we did not make a big deal here as we wanted was a stress-free move. 3) No delivery estimate was given at the time of pick-up. They delivered 4 weeks later and we were missing several items when they finally did deliver. 4) Our exercise bike, sound bar and one kitchen box seem to be missing so far. We instead got a box and some crib parts that probably belongs to another family. The sound bar box was empty but it was taped on the outside making me question if someone stole and re-taped it. I booked yellow eagle after looking at the google reviews and the initial quoting was smooth. However, everything was downhill after that. I understand cross-country moves are logistically complex but the sheer lack of communication from Yellow Eagle is frustrating and created a lot of stress for our family. We paid over 6k for a white glove stress free moving experience and got the absolute opposite of that. PS: A closer look at the other google reviews now make me question how authentic they are. All the reviews are overwhelmingly positive from private accounts with little to no detail. Please do your research before picking this company.

I’m giving them 2 stars because our things arrived mostly undamaged. Everything else about the experience was painful. On the move out then changed the moving day on use on the day of the move. I can’t imagine that’s ok for anyone, but for us it was especially a problem since we had to have a loading dock reservation for the move. Instead of an easy 1 day move it turned into an incredibly stressful 3 day move out. We moved across country and had our things in storage for a while. When we were ready to complete the move we struggled to get any information about when the move would be completed other than them repeating the contract that stated they had “21 business days” from our first available move in date. They ended up taking every one of those days and then some. I could live with that if they had been upfront about it and told us that’s when the delivery would complete but they provided almost no updates to us. When our things arrived we saw that much of our furniture was moved cross country OUTSIDE of the moving truck (see the pictures). This included some furniture that was well wrapped and some wardrobe boxes that were exposed to the elements throughout the move. There was clear water damage to the boxes on arrival. Somehow most things were undamaged, but I consider us very lucky on that.

This company is awesome! They were able to fit me into their schedule last minute for the next day. They are punctual and quick. The team was scheduled for 8-12. They showed up at 7:45 and After I gave a brief explanation of what I needed them to do, they went to work. This team was finished by 8:30. The team of two men unloaded my 15 ft U-haul and moved everything to the second floor apartment in less than an hour. They even noticed my table needed to be tightened and without asking they tightened up the table legs. I only wish the price was a little less but they were great. I will be using them again and I highly recommend this company!
