These guys were great, the energy they have is amazing!!! Got all my stuff moved in under the time quoted so I saved a lot of money. Skylar is the name that stuck but the 2 other gentlemen were also wonderful! I will definitely be using this company again I can’t say enough good things about them!! I used these guys again for my move into my house 3 different guys Trayvon, Jason, and Steve and they were all so amazing as well!! Great group of people working here that really have integrity! I am Greg’s caretaker, and was there for the move. He had called early in the week to see if they could squeeze in a relatively quick 2-hour job, and they slotted us in first thing in our desired date. I got there at the earliest part of the arrival window, and Brandon and Rick greeted me and said they were ready to go! They carefully protected all the items we were moving, and quickly get them on the truck. Delivery was quick as well. They were polite, conscientious, friendly, efficient, and strong! I’ve used movers at least 10 times, and these guys are as good…or better…than any.

Great experience beginning to end. Their company name describes them well! When I first called, Joel answered my call. Ryan called me back shortly and then came out to discuss our needs and get me a quote. Nancy, Phyllis and Virginia packed us up with great care (and lots of paper.) Brandon, Travis, Dexter, and Tavian loaded us up one day...and unloaded us the next day. The guys strike just the right balance of hustle and careful. You First Moving does it right, and they communicate so well. If you need to move, make them your first call. No move is perfect, but this one was close.

This is a rewrite of my original review. The workers were very pleasant and efficient getting my home packed up. I had six workers and two trucks, so it was a fairly large move. The total bill was less than expected because of how quickly they got the work done. When unloading, everything went smoothly until close to the end when I was told the boxes I marked for the basement may not fit there. I requested that those boxes marked "heavy" specifically be moved to the basement and the rest marked basement be put in the garage. After a whirlwind of boxes being moved in while I had to step away, I did a walk through, assuming boxes marked for specific locations made it to those locations. After the workers left, we discovered several boxes that never should have gone to the basement actually there, and nearly half of the boxes marked "heavy" in the garage. Many of the items that could have fit when I specified they go could not fit because of the haphazard way they were put in the spaces (i.e., large open gaps between stacks of boxes or furniture). Looking back, most everything could easily have fit in the locations designated if more care was put into placing things in a more orderly fashion. While I could not be in all places at once to see things put in places they never should have ended up, I clearly marked most everything as instructed by Eric, and was disappointed to find items in such odd places, clearly marked on top and sides. (I did email the company about these issues after the move and received no explanation for this. I am aware that things can get chaotic during a move, but also that there is an expectation that items will at least get close to where they are supposed to go) Regardless of these small annoyances, I was very impressed by the professionalism and the care taken of my furniture. Everything was wrapped carefully in moving blankets and shrink wrap. And stopping to pick up items for my wood shop at another location was a plus as well. Thank you for the move!

The team was incredibly helpful for my move, in and out in an afternoon for a 3 bedroom house. Everything handled with care and unloaded in great shape. The rate was very fair to get moved efficiently and without the stress or the sore back! Thank you to the team!
