Moving is stressful enough and this team was great from start to finish. The office was quick to understand the details and provide a quote; the pack team was quick, friendly and efficient; the load in team was quick, considerate and wanting to ensure the house was set as requested. Big thanks to: Eddie, Justin, Andrew, JT, Will, Ace and Ryan (twice! He helped on both pack and load-in). I highly recommend this crew to manage your house move - they knocked it out of the park.

This was the best experience with cleaning out a family member's house on the island I have ever had and I have had to do it here and off island several times. It was a nightmare of a cleanout, which included packing up furniture and other valuables to the storage unit rivalling a game of Changa and were things were put in perfectly. Then going to the dump and take it or leave it, and moving things around the house. Cleaning the basement out was no small feat. The guys, Chase, Eddie, Quin, Andrew, Justin were fantastic young men and so incredibly helpful, friendly and diligent about protecting what was still important to the family. Communication with me from the guys and the office was stellar and as exhausting as this process is/was I really did enjoy the experience. They also clean out junk and go to the dump as a separate job, not just related to moving people, they have connections off island, which I am going to use shortly to get stuff to and back from NJ. I highly recommend this company and these guys to take care of your needs.

Every friend that I asked heartily recommended Your Friend With A Truck. Today was the first part of complicated move that will require a couple of other phases. From my initial contact with the office staff, through a detailed walk-through, and now including phase 1 of the actual relocation, it’s become clear this is a company that makes outstanding customer service its priority. Today’ crew (Wayne, Eddie and Justin) arrived on time, were congenial, and well prepared to move a large number of fragile works of art, as well as heavy and awkward display pieces. They worked swiftly, but with impressive attention and care. I can’t recommend this business enough.

We had seven people assist with packing and two people assist with unloading. They completed a much larger job than we initially thought we would have any they all did it with great attitudes and great efficiency. Using on-island movers was a no brainer and the island is fortunate to have such an awesome company. 10/10 would highly recommend using Your Friend with a Truck!

Although I use and rely on Yelp tons, I have never written a review. I felt this merited it. I asked around and heard great things about Your Friend with a Truck. I had to move my apartment from Cambridge back to Nantucket. During the beginning of the Pandemic!!! To say things were crazy and complicated, especially with ferry travel, is an incredible understatement. But, Your Friend with a Truck, and McKenzie in the office, handled all the scheduling and arrangements masterfully, graciously and with a smile. When I had to make a change McKenzie did it quickly, efficiently, seamlessly, and again so pleasantly. Finally, as it turns out I had to move my furniture to Connecticut instead of back to the island and I had to cancel the move. I felt awful canceling after Your Friend with a Truck’s incredible service and efforts. But again, Your Friend with a Truck was incredibly helpful, accommodating, patient and understanding. I had heard and knew their work would have been great, but their customer service was truly amazing (I don’t write reviews). They were great to work with. Thanks!!!
