My experience with Zip Moving and Storage was nothing short of a nightmare. From the initial quote to the final delivery, the company's incompetence and lack of professionalism were on full display. During the pick-up process, the movers accidentally created a large hole in the wall. The attempt to reimburse us for this has been nothing short of pathetic. They consistently failed to communicate effectively, leaving me and my family in a state of uncertainty for weeks. Their customer service department often ignored our attempts to reach out to them or were pushed off to other people. Delivery dates were constantly pushed back, causing significant disruption to our lives. When the truck finally arrived, it was obvious that they only brought less than half of our things and still they demanded we pay in full prior to them unloading. After arguing that it was clear they didn’t have the majority of our items, they agreed we could pay the following day when the rest of our items arrived, before they unloaded. We were never told our shipment would be split across two days. This was also after multiple changes to the delivery date. When they came the following day, we were forced to pay in full before they unloaded. When the truck was completely empty, we realized a SIGNIFICANT portion of our items were missing. No one had any idea where our belongings were. This included, but isn’t limited to, an entire home gym set-up including a treadmill, spin bike, squat rack, over 600 lbs in weights, a pulley tower, dumbbells, as well as THREE televisions, FOUR adirondack chairs, and assortment of tools. Again, THEY HAD NO IDEA WHERE THESE ITEMS WERE. The following day we were told they found our items in an unopened vault 8 hours away in a different state and they would be delivered the following Wednesday. To the surprise of absolutely no one, this date was also pushed back. They eventually brought the ‘remainder’ of our belongings though to add insult to injury, several of our items were damaged during the move, including furniture and dishes, adjustable dumbbells and more. The company's response to these issues was both dismissive and inadequate. The dumbbells alone cost over $800. Not to mention that WE ARE STILL MISSING ITEMS and they seem to have just given up on looking for them. Throughout the entire process, Zip Moving and Storage's customer service was appalling. Representatives were difficult to reach, often ignored our concerns, and seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility than in resolving our problems. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of avoiding Zip Moving and Storage. We were told that the delivery was delayed MORE THAN ONCE because of "issues with the truck." I suggest they get a list of more than 1 excuse that's less transparent than "the dog ate my homework." Their incompetence, lack of professionalism, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them a company to be avoided at all costs. At best, they are horrible at their jobs and couldn’t care less about the quality of their service once you are finished paying them (which they force you to do before you can assess damages). They have a claims process, which has been insulting, to say the least. At worst, they are scam artists and how they sleep at night is beyond me. We intend to contact the Better Business Bureau, all other relevant government agencies, as well as any and every news source that can help prevent any other innocent citizens falling victim to their tactics. Should you choose to ignore this and utilize their services, plan to spend a minimum of 40% of the original quote EXTRA either for their sleazy tactics or simply to replace all the damaged / missing items. I fully expect someone from Zip to comment on this and try to claim they did nothing wrong. I URGE EVERYONE TO SEE IT FOR WHAT IT IS. COMPLETE BULLSHIT Update: I finally was able to put up one of my Televisions. I had to borrow my brother in laws tool set, which is why it took me so long. I turned it on and the screen is completely shot

I had Zip Moving do my move yesterday and they did an amazing job! There were two reasons I chose them despite working for a moving company myself and getting a bunch of other quotes- they were the most affordable, but they also accurately estimated my move time and cost. Other companies were quoting 3-4 men for 5-6 hours, and Zip quoted 3 men for 7-8 hours, which is what I was thinking it would take based on the walking distance at my new apartment. Even though they quoted more hours, their estimate was also the cheapest as they are running some specials this month. My move took exactly 7 hours, came within budget, and all the items were meticulously wrapped and nothing was damaged. I would definitely use Zip Moving again!

They were quick, efficient, and handled all of my belongings with great care and professionalism. The team arrived on time and immediately got to work, ensuring everything was packed, loaded, and transported smoothly. They worked seamlessly together, and their attention to detail and commitment to doing a great job were evident from start to finish. They made what could have been a stressful day incredibly easy and hassle-free. I highly recommend Zip Moving and Storage and this amazing crew for anyone in need of a reliable and efficient moving service!

This was the most horrible moving experience out of my adult life at 49 years old! This company and their employees are scammers! I was quoted a minimum and maximum price for packing and moving over the phone. I paid $170 deposit. Jessica text and called me numerous times to ensure everything was accounted for to be moved, location. Etc. She was extremely thorough. The morning of they brought an additional person n I changed my contract and hourly rate because it was promised by Alejandro it would be less time. It was 5 or 6 men and it took them from 9–almost 5 to arrive to my new apartment 15 minutes away no traffic. They moved me out of a 2 bedroom apartment. I spent the night on the hard floor with nothing because they chose not to move anything in since the garage automatically closed at 6. They missed their window to move my things in. I was back and forth with Nicki over the phone before they left that evening and that morning. No complimentary hotel stay for me but I’m sorry and I’m charging you more money for coming back tomorrow. She said that would be an additional 8 hours! I was beside myself yelling and threatening to sue! She wouldn’t allow me to talk to the owner. The morning arrived and she attempts to coerce me into signing off on paying $1000 plus more dollars. I refused. I go down stairs and her men are standing around n sitting down. I at this time am seeing red because she’s told her men to pack up my belongings and take them back to their place! I call 911 and the police come. I sit on the ramp so they can not load anymore of my furniture! The police look at the contract I screenshot they had me sign on line and the other forms I signed. I was calm and listened to the owner lie about why the job wasn’t finished on Friday per the contract! There’s a domino effect. My sport car now has a boot on it because there was so much drama that occurred to where my leasing agent, an angel sent from God and my son, we couldn’t get my car registered at my new apartment. I was in a deep sleep when my things were finally in because I really didn’t sleep the night before laying on a hard floor with no pillow, cover nothing! The parking garage Empire has booted my car. I’ve called them 4 or 5 times today! I haven’t eaten anything but some chips n drank Cokes from Friday morning to now Sunday Memorial Day Weekend. This is a disastrous weekend because Empire wants money they’re not getting from me yet I can’t go out n get the required medication I need for my health or food today. All because this moving company are thieves and robbers! Choose an honest company because these reviews have got to be fake! They deserve-100 star review! Charlene Hunter Haynes

Zipp Moving truly exceeded my expectations. With minimal notice, they stepped up and seamlessly moved my entire apartment, saving me from an immense amount of stress. Their service can only be described as 'white-glove', handling everything with care and precision. They were responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth move.
