Horrible business model. Crew is kind and helpful even though they scuffed up our entire doorway of one of our rooms. I feel so taken advantage of as far as pricing for the work. Barely helped us get any items into our house. Paid $500 for minimal work. I suggest hiring an hourly moving business. By the time I paid $500 they would’ve moved everything in and set the furniture in the exact place I wanted. As we were signing the receipt Ken was pleasant and did take off $20 for the scuff on the doorway and I appreciate that.

We had Zito Movers move our larger items 6/29 after getting other estimates. A friend suggested them, said the were good and reasonable. We had Ryan and Marco they were amazing, and so friendly. If I could give these gentlemen 10 stars I would. I would for sure recommend them. The owner was very nice also, and fit us in with short notice.

If i could give zero stars, i would. It’s been 3 years since our move and i was never going to make a bad review until i happen to see someone on a mom page telling another mom to avoid this company for doing the exact same thing to me. So clearly it’s a pattern. We (a military family) used this company while my husband was gone for 2 months and couldn’t help me move our family with a new baby to our new house. The company agreed to do the job and asked a series of questions about what was being moved over the phone. They never sent anyone to do a walk through of the job to be sure they staffed it properly and utilized the correct size truck. Day of the move they come with half the size truck needed and a fraction of the amount of guys necessary for the job and claim they can only move what they can fit in the truck. So i called the owner to tell him that we hired him to move the whole house and that is what i paid him to do and he said what i paid him was only enough for the truck and the men he sent. And if i needed more I’d have to pay hundreds of dollars more and he couldn’t move me until days later. We needed to be out of the house THAT SAME DAY. So i gave him pushback about how it’s not my job to help articulate the job outside of the questions he asked when i don’t know how to explain everything we own over the phone. He pulled all his guys from the job midway through and cashed my check an hour later out of fear i would cancel the check. I spoke with the owner directly who was extremely condescending and lacked remorse for the entire situation who didn’t like being told that he royally messed up and was screwing over a military spouse alone with an infant while her husband was away with the army. So all of that to say, absolutely do not hire this shady company because i have now personally read 3 stories of other people who were faced with the exact same thing.

Although I will not be using their services for personal reasons, I am so impressed with Zito Movers’ business ethics! In researching options for a move, I contacted Zito’s not really knowing what I needed for a small apartment move approximately 500 miles. From assessing the contents over the phone to making a truck size and manufacturer recommendation based on experience to a no pressure no commitment gentleman’s handshake conversation I felt valued as a human being not just a potential customer! So impressed!!

This was my second time using Zito Movers in just over a year. Obviously, I called them a second time after a great first experience. The second experience was just as good if not better! Moving is stressful, Ken with a team of 3 other men made my move worry free. They were kind, respectful, good at what they do, and priced reasonably. I have a living room set of oversized leather furniture, they worked together and made it happen. I was especially impressed with how they respected each other. It’s unfortunate that they had some negative reviews previously. All I can say is that I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. Thanks guys!
